Tough game against a full squad of well drilled Devonport Services, although new to the league are a combination of a few Plymouth regular players.
Truro started out strong and had opportunities for penalty corners early into the game but were unable to convert.
Devonport attacked in strong formation putting 2 past us by half time, the Truro defence working extremely hard to keep the ball out of our 25,
Half time we had difficulty linking possession to break through the Devonport side and with no subs available for fresh legs they put another 3 past us, taking a 5-0 win.
Lots of positives to work on for Truro ladies, worked hard as a team and a tried putting into practice some of the defensive routines learnt at training which was great.
Was also a match day with 2 birthday celebrations; happy birthday to Laura & Emily and a fun bowling social to finish the day.
Player of the match goes to Amy Simons for strong defensive play.
